Jersey Ham, Egg, Bagel and Herb Cream Cheese Breakfast Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients:

¾ cup cream cheese
1 tablespoon fresh dill
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
Pinch of chili powder
Salt
Black pepper
1 large Jersey (beefsteak) tomato
Vegetable oil
8 slices Jersey pork roll, such as Taylor Ham
8 eggs
1 tablespoon butter
4 bagels

Directions:

Place the cream cheese in a bowl. Finely chop the dill and parsley. Add the dill, parsley, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the cream cheese. Mix well.

Cut 4 round slices (about ¼ inch thick) from the center of the tomato and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Cook the pork roll in a skillet over medium heat with a little vegetable oil. Cook until lightly browned on each side, about 5 minutes, and then set aside.

Whisk the eggs in a bowl with salt and pepper. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Cook the eggs, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.

Split the bagels in half. Spread about 1 ½ tablespoons of the cream cheese and herbs on each half. Place 2 slices of the pork roll on the bottom half of each bagel and top them with the eggs and tomato slices. Cover with the other halves of the bagels.
