Ham and Cheese Bagel Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients:

6 plain bagels, split
4 teaspoons butter, softened
6 slices deli ham
6 slices cheddar cheese
2 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 large tomato, sliced
1 medium ripe avocado, peeled and sliced

Directions:

Spread butter on the cut sides of the bagels. Place the bagels on an ungreased baking sheet with the buttered sides up. Broil the bagels 4 to 6 inches away from the heat for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the bagels are lightly browned.

Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on the bottom of each bagel. Broil for another 3 to 4 minutes, or until the cheese melts.

Spread cream cheese on the tops of the bagels. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Put slices of tomato and avocado on top of the ham and cheese and replace the tops of the bagels.
