Bagel and Cheese Bake Recipe

What you’ll need:
½ pound bacon, diced
½ cup onion, chopped
3 plain bagels
1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
12 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
2 teaspoons parsley, chopped
¼ teaspoon pepper
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Cook the bacon and onion in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat until they are browned evenly. Drain and set aside.
Cut each bagel into 4 thin slices. Place 6 slices in a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Place the bacon and onion on top, then cover with the Cheddar cheese, followed by the rest of the bagel slices.
Whisk the eggs, milk, parsley, and pepper together in a bowl and pour over the bagel layers. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or at least 8 hours.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Uncover the dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the eggs are firm. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Serve warm and enjoy!
